Bio

From 2012 to 2016 I worked as a journalist and photographer for an international magazine of food & interior design. It introduced me to the secrets of food photography & food styling.

In 2015 I launched my project Il Dolce Carso that combined modern pastry and professional photography to promote local tourism. Its success led to an invitation to the World Exhibition EXPO 2015 in Milan.

Since 2016 I work as a photographer at food events, for bakery and local products and haute cuisine menus for restaurants, farms, tourist operators, magazines and public agencies.

As often as possible I take pictures of my homeland, the Karst, a small yet heterogeneous region between Italy and Slovenia with breathtaking panoramas and various natural ambients.  

This passion resulted in a new project called PhotoKras: photography services for local producers, tourist agencies etc. and a shop of prints of my landscape & nature pictures of the Karst land.
