Bio

From 2012 to 2016 I worked as a journalist and photographer for an international magazine of food & interior design. It introduced me to the secrets of food photography & food styling.

In 2015 I launched my project Il Dolce Carso that combined modern pastry and professional photography to promote local tourism. Its success led to an invitation to the world exhibition Expo 2015, where I presented the project at the Pavillion Slovenia.

Since 2016 I work as a photographer at food events, restaurants' menus and fairs for tourist operators, magazines, government agencies.

As often as possible I take pictures of my homeland, the Karst, a small yet heterogeneous region between Italy and Slovenia with breathtaking panoramas and various natural ambients.  

This activity resulted in a new project called PhotoKras: photography services for local producers, tourist agencies etc. and a shop of prints of my nature photography of the Karst land.
